Workmanship warranty

Every Gutierrez Flooring installation is backed by a 6-month to 1-year workmanship warranty, depending on the type of project completed. Your exact warranty period is specified in your estimate or contract before work begins.

The term for your project is set by its type — and written into your estimate or contract, so you know it before we start.

What our warranty covers

Defects caused by our installation, including:

  • Flooring that becomes loose due to improper installation.
  • Seams that separate because of installation error.
  • Trim or quarter round installed by Gutierrez Flooring that comes loose due to workmanship.
  • Installation-related issues with flooring completed by Gutierrez Flooring.

What our warranty does not cover

Coverage is for our workmanship only — it does not extend to:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Scratches, dents, stains, burns, or pet damage.
  • Damage caused by water, flooding, plumbing leaks, moisture, or natural disasters.
  • Damage caused by moving furniture, heavy appliances, or misuse.
  • Manufacturer defects in flooring materials — these are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, if applicable.
  • Work that has been altered, repaired, or removed by anyone other than Gutierrez Flooring.
  • Damage caused by improper cleaning products or failure to follow the manufacturer's maintenance guidelines.
